Make It Monday Happy Halloween Card

Standard

Good morning! Today’s Make It Monday post is a Halloween card. I love using textured folders. I did learn a trick this weekend from a friend. When antiquing or aging a textured background, swipe your dauber or sponge across the ink then rub most of it off onto a paper plate or scrap piece if paper. Then when you go to age your background it’s a dry process and its very light. The first one I made was way too dark.

When I received my Stampin Up! I realized that I had ordered two of the same stamp sets. Silly me! My error could be your next free stamp set. Anyone who places an order through my Stampin Up! Website before October 5th will be entered into a drawing to win this Halloween set. Every $25 spent will get one entry for this wooden stamp set.

My Stampin Up!

O, I almost forgot. I’m trying something new tonight. I am posting from my iPhone with the WordPress app. If there are any errors or if something doesn’t work, it will be updated and corrected very soon!

My Weekend Fun

Standard

This weekend I started doing my fall cleanup.  That included some items I was saving that I just “knew” I’d use.  I had these metal trays I had picked up at a sale and knew I wanted to make a tiered storage device.  Add some dollar store glass candle sticks and voila!  Cute and functional!

I used my Stampin Up!(R) Crystal Effects as my adhesive.  It works wonderfully and the milky that shows in the picture dried clear!  It was wet when I took the picture.

It looks great in my bathroom on the chest of drawers I have in there for storage.

Hope this inspires you!  What did you do this weekend?Image
